Authors are required to ensure that their work is original, not under review elsewhere, and conforms to the Journal of Sulaimani Medical College (JSMC)’s editorial standards. Manuscripts should be written in clear academic English, follow the modified Vancouver reference style, and be formatted as follows:

• Document format: Microsoft Word (2010 or newer)
• Font: Times New Roman, size 12
• Spacing: Double-spaced, A4 paper, 2.5 cm margins
• Headings: No more than three levels
• Abstract: Structured (Background, Methods, Results, Conclusion) up to 250 words
• Keywords: 3–6 MeSH terms
• References: Numbered sequentially in-text [1], [2,3], [4–6]. Use Vancouver style with abbreviated journal titles and DOIs when available.

Accepted article types: Original Articles, Review Articles, Case Reports, Brief Reports, Editorials, Letters to the Editor, and Perspectives.

Manuscripts must comply with ethical standards including IRB approval, informed consent, and trial registration (if applicable). Refer to the full Author Guidelines before submission.
